These are listed in the order they were released.
This is the 1989/1990 release of the Core Game System.
It was originally released in 1989 in Europe and Australasia, and 1990 in North America.
It contains everything you need to play the game.
- Miniatures for the heroes, enemies, and 3-D cardboard furniture.
- The Gameboard and cardboard tiles for traps, blocked passages and other terrain.
- Movement and Combat dice.
- Playing cards for various game compoents (Treasure, Spells, Hero Stats and so on).
- Character sheets.
- A 14-Quest book and Dungeon Master screen.
This is the Keller's Keep expansion.
This is the Return of the Witch Lord expansion.
This is Advanced HeroQuest.
You could almost consider it HeroQuest 2.0.
It featured modular board tiles, more complex rules and several other differences from the Core Game System.
This is the Against the Ogre Horde expansion.
It was only released in Europe and Austrilasia.
This is the Adventure Design Kit.
It contained stickers, blank maps, and other tools for creating custom quests.
It was only released in Europe.
This is the HeroQuest Advanced Quest Edition.
It is the full version of HeroQuest plus 12 "Black Guard" miniatures with detachable weapons
and a new 13 part adventure "The Dark Company", which could be played using 4 copies of the game board.
It was only released in Europe.
This is the Wizards of Morcar expansion.
It was only released in Europe and Austrilasia.
This is the HeroQuest Master Edition. It is a relabeling of the Advanced Quest Edition.
It was only released in Germany.
This is the Barbarian Quest Pack expansion.
It was only released in North America.
This is the Elf Quest Pack expansion.
It was only released in North America.
When Hasbro aquired the rights to HeroQuest,
they launched a crowdfunding campaign on Pulse.
There were two Tiers:
The Dread Veil Dice Set.
This appears to be discontinued.
It was only offered (as far as I know) on Hasbro's website and only in North America.
It is not longer available on their website.
Supposedly, Hasbro said this was not intented to be a limited/promotional type product
and they retain the rights to reproduce it at any time.
The feedback I've seen is that the case/mat is nice but the dice are hard to read.
Maybe some day they will make the dice more readable and re-release the product, but as of this writing, it's no longer for sale.
